Mar 28, 2019 Step 1: Verify that you’ve got iMessage turned on for the Messages app. Certain apps such as Photos requires that you have it activated for Messages to show up within the Share options. Step 3 View missing iMessage/texts messages in the backup. After the scanning process, all backup files will be listed as different categories on the left. Check 'Messages' and 'iMessages' to preview all text messages/iMessages on the main screen. The deleted ones will be mar ked as red while the existing ones are black.

I Just got my new iPhone 7.

Under the list of deleted items, locate your missing iMessages and text messages and choose from the two options before you. Note: If you wish to restore the missing iMessages on your iPhone to solve the text messages disappeared error, click “Restore to Device” and all get all your messages back. Turn iMessage or Messages on and off a couple of times (Settings Messages iMessage) Go to Settings Messages Send & Receive on each of your iDevices and Message App Preferences Accounts on Macs and make sure that your phone number (s) and email address (s) associated with your Apple ID are listed and checked.

While upgrading and updating and transferring my other apps on my iPhone 7 from my iPhone 6s, I noticed that some of my current text messages that I had gotten and sent yesterday and Monday from my iPhone 6s to transfer to my iPhone 7 isn't showing up on my iPhone 7, my latest text messages on my iPhone 7 stopped on Saturday, I had sent two separate text messages to two different people yesterday, one from my iPhone 6s and one from my iPhone 7 both replies back didn't show up on my new iPhone 7 just Saturdays texts.

Is there a way to get the rest of my missing text messages from my new iPhone 7? To show up from Yesterday and Monday?

I Also tried to look for my friends text messages, they aren't showing up in the text message search box.

iMessage is an instant messaging platform for Apple products users. You can send SMS, pictures, audio message and video messages from your iPhone, iPad, and MacBook to other Apple devices of your friends and/or relatives. This is safe and secured. Just like any other application, it does have its glitches. Sometimes there’s the issue of disappearing iMessage or voice messages because of various problems. It could be because of an iPhone or an iCloud update issue or the phone setting itself or even if someone actually deleted those messages.

Part 1. How to Keep Messages on your iPhone 'Forever'

1. Go to your Phone’s setting

2. Scroll down to messages

3. Once you are in the iMessage setting, scroll down

4. Under Message History, go to Keep Message. Your choices are 30 days, 1 Year or Forever. Chose 'Forever' to solve the 'why do my iMessages disappear' problem.

As for the voice iMessage, the first 2 steps are the same (Go to your Phone’s setting > Scroll down to messages), but when you are in the iMessage setting, under Audio Messages, you can choose either ‘After 2 minutes’ or ‘Never’. Chose 'Never' if you want to store the iMessage voice message forever.

If you still cannot find your message and it’s still an iMessage disappeared or iMessage voice message disappeared, you can follow this standard procedure.

Check if you backed up your phone from iPhone to iCloud. Please go to your phone’s Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > iCloud backup.

From there, you can retrieve your iMessage quickly. But sometimes the iCloud will replace the restored iMessage with the new ones and it automatically deletes old messages or files.

Part 3. How to Get Back Disappeared iMessage from iPhone
